The Harlan County Board of Education has approved the 2026-2027 School Calendar. Students will begin the fall semester on August 5, 2026.

The Future of Harlan County Football Starts NOW! The next generation of Black Bears is ready to make it official! Join us Sunday, March 15 at 2:00 PM at the HC Football Fieldhouse as we celebrate our 8th grade athletes signing and committing to carry on the Black Bear tradition.
This is more than a signing — it’s the start of something special. Players and families will get the chance to meet the coaching staff and future teammates as we officially welcome them to the family.
