🩺💚💛 AHEC 8th Grade Scrubs Club! Our GHES 8th Grade Scrubs Club students enjoyed a fun, hands-on hand hygiene activity! Students learned the importance of proper handwashing, preventing the spread of germs, and staying healthy. A special thank you to AHEC for partnering with our PRI School Coordinator, Paula Bray, to provide this wonderful learning opportunity for our students and inspire future healthcare professionals! 🦅💚💛

📚💚💛 Reading Fun at GHES! 🚌📖 Our GHES 3rd and 4th grade students enjoyed a special visit from the Harlan County Bookmobile! Students had a wonderful time exploring books, discovering new stories, and building their love for reading! 💚💛 A big THANK YOU to the Harlan County Bookmobile for partnering with our PRI School Coordinator, Paula Bray, to bring this fun and educational experience to our students! We appreciate our community partners for helping make learning exciting at GHES! 🦅📚

💕🍼 Soup, Sandwiches & Celebrating Baby Donahue! 🥣💕 Today, our GHES family came together for some delicious soups, sandwiches, and a special celebration honoring Amanda Donahue and her sweet bundle of joy! 💛 Congratulations, Amanda! We are so excited for you and can’t wait to welcome Baby Donahue! 👶�

GHES Kindergartener’s have started learning about plants. During today’s Amplify lesson, they listened to a story about the different parts of a plant and their four basic needs. They then created a diagram to show what they learned.

Everyone Welcome! Thursday, Oct. 22 5pm - 7pm at Harlan County High School.

GHES students, Emma Mitchell and Ezra Hensley, ran in the KTCCCA Meet of Champions: Elementary State Cross Country Championship Race at the Kentucky Horse Park over the weekend. Both runners achieved a PR (personal record) in the 2000 meter race!
