🎓 8TH GRADE CAP & GOWN SIZING

Mrs. Caldwell's 4th grade class celebrated the end of their CKLA Middle Ages unit by having a Middle Ages Day! Students got to decorate their very own knight shield, create a miniature castle, and eat a traditional lunch of pottage (stew) and rye bread.

☕🍩 A Little Staff Appreciation Treat! 🍩☕ After all the hard work that went into making our Fall Festival such a success, our amazing GHES staff deserved a little pick-me-up! 🧡 Principal Saylor treated our staff to an Iced Coffee Bar & Donuts as a small way to say THANK YOU for the extra time, energy, teamwork, and dedication they give to our students and school each day. Nothing says “we survived Fall Festival” quite like iced coffee and donuts the next day! 😂☕🍩 We appreciate our GHES staff more than they know! 💚💛 #GHES #StaffAppreciation #IcedCoffeeBar #DonutDay #ThankYouStaff #FalconFamily

5th grade is learning about the Law of Conservation of mass.  They made homemade “lava lamps” which cause a chemical change.  Students observed that the mass before the change is equal to the mass after the change, therefore it was conserved, even though new substances (gases) were made.
