Green Hills Elementary successfully completed their very first CERT Drill! 🦺🚨 Our staff are now better prepared and ready to respond in the event of an emergency. Safety is always a top priority at Green Hills! 🌟 We would also like to thank Joshua Farmer for serving as our drill student—he did a fantastic job helping us practice and prepare!

GHES kindergarteners went on a hike this morning and used their sense of sight to explore nature. They then created (with the help of Mrs. Free) a picture poster of all the things they saw.

Green Hills Elementary 4th & 5th Grade Trip Today, our 4th and 5th graders enjoyed a wonderful day of learning and adventure at Pine Mountain Settlement School for Farm Bureau Forestry Days. 🌲 They explored nature on a wildflower hike 💧 Examined invertebrates in a stream 🛠️ Discovered settlers’ wood working tools 🪵 Even learned how to make wood shingles 🪨They also done a habitat scavenger hunt on the Split Rock Trail! It was a fun and hands-on experience that brought history, science, and nature to life! 🌿✨ MORE PICTURES TO COME!

GHES K4 students had a fun time learning the letter O! To make the lesson extra engaging, they created their very own octopuses to go along with the sound and shape of the letter.” 🐙✨
