Coming up in May!! As we near the end of the school year, it's time to prepare for the Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA).

Green Hills Elementary Celebrates New Community Playground Equipment! Exciting things are happening at Green Hills Elementary! Thanks to the combined efforts of District 1 Magistrate Paul Caldwell, Judge Executive Dan Mosley, Principal Jacob Saylor, PRI’s School Coordinator Paula Bray, and dedicated school employee Candice Middleton, our students now have brand-new playground equipment to enjoy! This vibrant new addition isn’t just for the school—it’s a true community playground, offering a fun, safe, and welcoming space for children throughout the area. The project reflects the power of collaboration and the shared commitment of local leaders and school staff to invest in the well-being of our kids. We sincerely appreciate Magistrate Paul Caldwell and Judge Executive Dan Mosley for their unwavering support in bringing this project to life. Special thanks to Principal Jacob Saylor for his strong leadership and commitment to our students. We're also incredibly thankful for the hard work and dedication of Paula Bray and Candice Middleton, whose efforts were instrumental in turning this vision into a reality. At Green Hills, we believe strong schools and strong communities go hand in hand—and this playground is a shining example of that spirit in action!

🚌 School Bus Drivers Appreciation Day🚌 Thank you to all of our drivers here at Green Hills!!

Mr. Howard’s 5th grade class recently participated in Farm Bureau Forestry Days at Pine Mountain Settlement School. Students participated in activities ranging from fire safety awareness, operation of a greenhouse, forestry practices, creating their own minature greenhouse to conservation of aquatic life in streams. This was a great educational opportunity that our students greatly enjoyed.

Green Hills Elementary School's newly renovated library is now open and thriving. Students are enjoying the new books and inviting atmosphere. Librarian Jessica Caldwell expresses her gratitude to PRI (Paula Bray) for the remodeling opportunity, allowing the school to create an enriching reading and learning environment for the students.
