GHES Student Spotlight

GHES kindergarteners have been learning about their five senses. Today they learned about their sense of taste and tried different snacks. They then identified and categorized the flavor of each into one of the five flavor groups (sweet, salty, sour, savory, and bitter).

Sept. 8 - Sept. 12

GHES 6th graders enjoyed collaborating in small groups to create restaurant names and menus! They used vivid adjectives to describe appetizing dishes while practicing descriptive writing.

4th and 5th grade students attended the annual 4H Environmental Camp at Martin's Fork Lake today. Students rotated through different stations to learn about Recycling, Agriculture, Water Quality, and Forestry! Our students had a great day and we are thankful to 4H for the opportunity to have such an engaging learning experience!
