4th and 5th grade students attended the annual 4H Environmental Camp at Martin's Fork Lake today. Students rotated through different stations to learn about Recycling, Agriculture, Water Quality, and Forestry! Our students had a great day and we are thankful to 4H for the opportunity to have such an engaging learning experience!

Our 4th graders had an amazing time at Farm Bureau Forestry Days at Pine Mountain Settlement School! Students participated in hands-on learning, from identifying trees on a hike, to studying forest and stream relationships, wildfire education, and even learning how early settlers used timber.

Green Hills Elementary successfully completed their very first CERT Drill! 🦺🚨 Our staff are now better prepared and ready to respond in the event of an emergency. Safety is always a top priority at Green Hills! 🌟 We would also like to thank Joshua Farmer for serving as our drill student—he did a fantastic job helping us practice and prepare!

GHES kindergarteners went on a hike this morning and used their sense of sight to explore nature. They then created (with the help of Mrs. Free) a picture poster of all the things they saw.
