They earned Runner-Up in quick recall, they won the Hume Sportsmanship Award, and also brought home several individual content placements. Our 7th graders recently participated in the Unite on the Move program, where they experienced what it can feel like to be intoxicated by wearing impairment goggles and took part in a discussion about how vaping, marijuana, and alcohol affect the body and thinking skills. Students were engaged and asked thoughtful questions. We appreciate opportunities like this that help them better understand healthy choices and real-life consequences.

February 10–14 is FRYSC Appreciation Week, and we are excited to introduce Mrs. Darla Shepherd as the new FRYSC Coordinator serving Rosspoint and Green Hills Elementary. We are thrilled to welcome Darla and are grateful to have her joining our school community. 💙🤍 Mrs. Darla Shepherd - Coordinator 💚💛 Mrs. Sheila Hensley - Assistant Coordinator Mrs. Shepherd and Mrs. Hensley work together to support the FRYSC center for both schools. Their mission is to ensure students and families have access to the resources they need to succeed. The FRYSC office doors are always open—for supplies, food, support, smiles, and encouragement.
