The Kentucky State Police, Harlan County Sheriff’s Department, Harlan City Police, and Harlan County Schools Police Department are on the scene for a shots-fired call in the Rosspoint community. This occurred off school property, and the school was never in danger. Out of an abundance of caution, Rosspoint will implement extra security measures for the remainder of the day. The school was never threatened, but student safety remains our number one priority.
