Mission Statement
The mission of the James A. Cawood High School Consolidated Plan Committee is to assess the most crucial needs of our school and upon identifying those needs, to serve as a rudder in changing course for improvement of the school. We do this to enable each of our students to reach their highest level of academic achievement and performance, to become a responsible and productive citizen. As we as school implement the changes listed in this plan and others that we have charted, we must be constantly searching out and eliminating any barriers on the path of educational progression of our students, be these barriers motivated by race, gender or disability. We as a faculty and staff believe that each of our students are deserving of a quality education. Therefore, we pledge our total effort into the success of this plan.

Alma Mater

All-hail to Alma Mater
To thy glory we sing.
All-hail to James A. Cawood High School
Loud let thy praises Ring.
Where Eastern sky meets mountain range
Our high school stands in majesty.
Sing our love to Alma Mater,
Hail to Thee, ALL HAIL.

School Song

GO! Trojans down the field,
Fight for old JAC.
Come on, lets go! Trojans never yield,
March on to victory.
Come on with strength and courage lead you on,
With cheer and loyalty.
Come on, Lets go! Trojans win this fight,
For old JAC.
