Welcome to Cawood Elementary!

Cawood Elementary is one of the eleven schools in the Harlan County Public School District. We currently serve about 333 students in Kindergarten through Eighth grade and have approximately a 14:1 student to teacher ratio. This ratio makes the learning experience for the students both personal and memorable. In addition, a small ratio also makes it easy for the students to receive the attention they need and deserve in the classroom because of more one-on-one interaction and assistance.
